Regional State Autonomous Healthcare Institution “The Ambulance Hospital № 2”
The Ambulance Hospital № 2 of the Tomsk city is a surgical hospital with 219 beds.
The institution works around the clock and daily in the regime of emergency, urgent and planned medical care. Every year, about eight thousand children are treated in the hospital, more than five thousand of them are operated on.
Thirty thousand children a year receive outpatient surgical care at a trauma center and more than twenty thousand are examined in an emergency room.
On average, a medical team receives about a hundred calls per shift.
The hospital performs surgical interventions in surgery and urology, orthopedics and traumatology, combustiology and otorhinolaryngology. Successful outcomes in severe cases became possible due to the high level of development of anesthesiology and resuscitation.
The hospital is a clinical base for the Department of Pediatric Surgery of Siberian State Medical University.
